Most "best manufacturing ERP" lists rank every system for every plant and rarely separate a job shop from a mixed-mode plant. This guide matches systems to how a plant produces and says plainly what each one leaves out.

Who it is for

Owners, plant managers, operations directors, controllers and IT leads at manufacturers with roughly 50 to 2,000 employees, choosing or replacing an ERP or deciding how to modernise the office work around it. We assume readers know their routings, their bottleneck machines and their month-end better than any vendor.

How it is made

Each system profile is built from the vendor's own pages and documentation, its named customer stories and reputable third-party reporting, with a numbered source and access date on every fact. Vendor-reported figures are labelled. Where a vendor's own pages could not be opened, we say so and limit the profile to what we could verify. The same seven criteria apply to every system, as set out on the methodology page.

We re-check the main guide at least once a quarter and whenever a vendor changes prices or releases AI features to general availability. Every page shows its last update and keeps a change log.

Corrections

If a ranking looks unfair or a fact is wrong, tell us. Each report is checked against its source, and confirmed errors are fixed and noted in the page's change log.

Ownership

This publication is owned by the company that makes OpenLazarus, one of the systems it reviews. OpenLazarus is ranked first for one stated situation, described in the methodology, and is assessed against the same published criteria and sources as every other entry. Its limits are listed as plainly as anyone else's.
