Odoo's manufacturing app sits inside a suite where every app, including accounting, inventory and purchasing, is included in one per-user subscription⁠1PricingOdoo.

Best for: Small and mid-sized manufacturers on a tight budget that want MRP, quality, maintenance and accounting at one published per-user price.

Not the right fit for: Plants that want AI agents doing work today, or a vendor-led implementation included in the price.

What it covers

Bills of materials with by-products; manufacturing orders scheduled with finite capacity on a Gantt chart; a master production schedule for sales and operations planning; PLM with version control; statistical quality analysis; maintenance; and a tablet shop-floor app organising work centres, worksheets and quality tests⁠2Manufacturing (MRP) softwareOdoo. The Standard plan runs on Odoo's cloud; the Custom plan adds multi-company use, the external API and hosting on Odoo.sh or on-premise⁠1PricingOdoo.

Strengths and limits

Strengths

• The lowest published price for a full ERP in this guide, with every app included.
• Quality, maintenance and PLM in the same system as MRP.
• A Custom plan that can run on-premise or on Odoo.sh, for manufacturers that want control of hosting.

Limits

• Its manufacturing pages describe no AI features; “agentic AI” is listed only on the Custom plan.
• Multi-company use and the external API require the Custom plan.
• Implementation and custom development are priced separately.

Choose another option if: You want a vendor that owns the implementation, or job-shop quoting and costing out of the box (JobBOSS², Global Shop Solutions).

Pricing

Published in euros on the day we checked: Standard €19.90 and Custom €35.90 per user a month billed yearly (first-year discount).

• What will implementation of manufacturing cost for our routings and work centres?
• Do we need the Custom plan for multi-company use or integrations?
